  1. I’m so sorry to hear of your problems with the crops. I totally understand what you are going through as we have been there. I wish we had enough to offer to help out, but we don’t have much ourselves as we are still working to get our plots cleaned & soil amended for the growing season. Just wanted to let you know I was thinking about you!

Best of everything to you both! God bless.

    • I have a priceless picture of my grandfather sitting, head in hands, on the steps of his farmhouse. Family legend is that his cash crop of beans had been decimated by insects mad he was in his worry posture. I grew up on farms, so am sympathetic. But I am buying from you for many more reasons than wanting picture perfect produce. Hang in there.

  2. though i’m not a farmer, i totally understand how this works and have no illusions about that fact that people–great people!–are behind our CSA. part of the CSA is the word COMMUNITY and as your community, we take the losses and the victories alongside our favorite farmers. i’m sorry that you lost your crop and can’t imagine how that feels. but i feel proud to know that you work so hard!! let us know if there’s anything we can do to help.

  3. hey I’m sorry to hear that my favorite farmers are having some difficult challenges at the moment. Thanks for doing what you do even though it’s not always easy!!!!
    love and support
    I miss you guys
