New Year’s Eve Market, 12/31/18

We’ll be open MONDAY morning, 12/31 from 9-12 with lots of fresh veggies and other local foods to help you start the new year off right.  Happy New Year, friends!

We’ll also have 2 other On Farm winter markets that are BOTH ON MONDAYS AS WELL:

1) Martin Luther King, Jr. Day : Monday, January 21st, 2019

2) President’s Day: Monday, February 18th, 2019

This week on the market table:

Carrots, Lettuce, Kale, ‘Alabama Blue’ Collards, Watermelon Radishes, Rainbow Chard, Turmeric, Baby Fennel Bulbs, Dill, Cilantro, Red and Green Cabbage, Pak Choi, Tatsoi, Sweet Potatoes, Sweet Asian Turnip Roots, Purple Top Turnip Roots, Broccoli, and Microgreens.

Farm Made Tinctures: Ginger,Turmeric and Elderberry.
Farm Made Chocolates– made with Raw Cacao, Cocoa Butter, Local Raw Honey, Sea Salt and farm grown ingredients like ginger, mint, and blueberry. Very dark chocolate, very good!
Microgreen Pesto (frozen) -made with our microgreens, garlic and organic pecans from Koinonia.
Riverview Farms (North GA.): Stone-Ground Grits & Corn Meal
Koinonia Farms (Americus)-Organic, Biodynamic Pecans
Turntime Farm(Ellerslie): Ground Beef, Chuck Roasts, Link &Ground sausage,Pork Butts, Pork Chops, Soup bones, Whole Chicken.  Bacon sold out for now.
Randle Farms (Auburn): Ground Lamb and Eggs
Amazing Grace Farm(Pine Mountain Valley):Raw Honey
Pecan Point Farm (Hurtsboro, Al) : Yogurt (maple, plain, and turmeric/ginger) and granola.
Oliver Farms (South GA): Sunflower, Pecan and Pumpkin Seed Oil
Baked Goods: Sue B’s granola bars, Amazing Grace Farm “Southern Sourdough” bread, and Emerald Acres baked goods (pumpkin pecan breads, cranberry pecan bread and fig cakes).

Enjoying the Merry Go Round with Tulsi before Christmas. This is a tradition in Valley, Alabama, just over the state line where Jenny’s dad grew up. He enjoyed going to this same carousel at Christmas time when he was a boy.
