Last On Farm Market for 2016

This Wednesday morning, December 21st from 9-12, we will have our final market for the year. We hope you can join us to celebrate the end of the season and the Winter Solstice!

Need  last minute Christmas gifts? Consider Heritage Hog Pork, Loofah Sponges, Herbal Tinctures, Farm Made Preserves and Kimchi. You can pick up all these things this Wednesday, along with the following veggies and meats:

Kale,’ Alabama Blue’ Collards, ‘Rainbow’ Chard, Turnip Greens, Sweet Asian Turnip Roots, Carrots, Lettuce, Spinach, Cabbage, Cilantro, Green Onions, Watermelon Radishes, Sunchokes and Sweet Potatoes.

Farm made items:
Elderberry Tincture, Turmeric Tincture, Holy Basil Tincture, OUT of Ginger Tincture, Hibiscus Jam, Tomato Chutney
Farm Pork:
Whole Hams, Link & ground sausage (mild, medium and hot), Ribs, Ham hocks,
Lard, Chops, Shoulder Roasts (Butts)
Plus new pork sausages: Chorizo and Italian Sausage!

Turntime Farm (Ellerslie):

Eggs! Also Ground Beef and Whole Chicken

White Oak Pastures Beef Marrow Bones.

Bulger Creek Farm Goat Cheese

New! Riverview Farms Grits and Cornmeal

ALSO, Sue Batistini’s breads and granola bars will NOT be at market.

Brandon and Chris have been working super hard on the new greenhouse: the giant heater has been hung, fan/shutter installed, door hung, plastic pulled, and today they installed the roll up side curtains that will allow ventilation during warmer weather. I can’t wait to get nestled in here this winter and start seeding the many thousands of baby plants that are to come! Thanks again to those that loaned us the money for this through Kiva!

Merry Christmas, Happy Winter Solstice, and Cheers to the New Year!

Many thanks for your support of our small farm,

Jenny + Chris

  1. I’d hope to get by there Wednesday, but I have to go to Atlanta to pick up grandma and won’t be passing your exit until that afternoon sometime. The kimchi was outstanding and didn’t last long!

I so appreciate everything you guys do so that I can provide nourishing food for my children’s growing bodies and exposure to your farm and kindness to nourish their souls.

    Merry Christmas–

    • No, we did not come down to the market this fall/winter because there are too many parades/events that impede on our business. We will be back in the spring and plan to be there through the summer again. Hope to see you then!
