“GOOD FOOD NEWS”

With two new, energetic, talented apprentices, a 30′X 96′ high tunnel installed, and ideal growing conditions, early Spring has been quite a success. Our bellies and our fields are full, clean, and healthy due to the hard work and seasonal culinary skills of both Justin Butler and Janice Giddens. Spring is here and all things are new again!

Another growing season is upon us here at the farm. With this new season comes many other great things for us; a new website, our first hoop house, 2 new apprentices and fields that are springing to life with beautiful fruits and veggies. This year we will be using our website to communicate more with all of our CSA members, customers, friends and any other followers we have excitedly picked up via the world wide web. For all of you who would like to receive regular farm updates, including our weekly “Good Food News” newsletter, please enter your email address in the box located under the Email Subscription tab on the right-hand side of the page.  We have so many wonderful folks who are currently subscribed to our weekly newsletter that we have had to come up with a better way to get it to y’all. Thanks for helping us out with this!

It is that time of year when our on-farm market is getting ready to begin! Our fields are full of arugula, collards, kale and a few other surprises that we will begin harvesting soon. The on-farm market will be held every Wednesday beginning on April 20th and ending on November 16th from 9AM – 1PM. If you need directions to the farm you can click on the Map/Directions tab located at the top of the page.
